Tell your boss you are currently attending to some personal matters and do not want to sound uninterested outside of working hours in regards to your work. Hope s/he can understand.

And please don't appears to be jumping happily around the workplace. Don't pichak your white lie. Stay low profile and quieter than usual.

I mean, I blocked my boss on whatsapp and she had no idea until she tried to add me to a whatsapp group.

And I blocked her long before she became my boss and was only an ex-supervisor.
