I bought this mouse a month or two back for my office desktop (which is a HP computer).
I used it for two weeks and decided to bring it home to use on my notebook. I discovered tp my horror the USB transceiver was stuck and cannot be removed. I tried to remove it till my finger got cut. Please note the same port was use for my wired mouse with no problems. I called and email Microsoft and after filling up forms and taking pictures, there was no reply from them. I had to send two chasers before they reverted saying that it was a user fault that this was not cover under warranty. Refer to case ID SRX1240437025ID and SRX1245349564ID. How can it be , y fault that the USB transceiver cannot be remove from a frequently used port? This shall be my last Microsoft mouse.
