Hi all,

I just came back from overseas and my PC kept shutting down after 1-5 minutes from booting up. It just lost power and everything went black except my monitor which went stand-by.

My Specs:
Biostar TH67XE
Intel Core i7-2600k
4 x 4GB ADATA RAM
PowerColor TurboDuo R9 280X 3GB GDDR5
750W Power Supply?

Thank you for your help.

maybe u can try removing the gpu and clean the ram contact, and insert 1 ram to test it.

Yes, I tried one stick at a time before, still have the same problem. If it is MB, it is going to be expensive since my CPU is old...

most likely is psu or mb, if your mb is relatively new, then chances are the psu's issue

Thanks for the help!

U can buy brand new 1155 motherboard from this guy with distro warranty

http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/cpu-ram-mainboard-bazaar-199/mainboard-processor-memory-storage-clearance-5050357.html

I bought the $73... Cheaper than replacing mobo+cpu. Latest i5 also not as good as your i7

For your case, replace psu first
