Anyone using myrepublic with a static ip and hosting a small personal web/email server? What is their policy on setting up a ptr/reverse dns record for your domain?

I’ve been running a mail server for a while now but I never had a Ptr record for my domain. If I remember correctly you don’t need one as mentioned in myrepublic’s faq.

ok tks, having reverse dns helps prevent email rejections. are you experiencing any outgoing problems?

no outgoing problems so far but i did add mx and spf record to my domain

rDNS is not available for residential users on MR - only corporate
U could contact them for clarification but this was their reply to me a few months ago
