This used to be a great event where you can pick up many treasures.
But it's popularity is pushing me off completely now.

You have to queue real early to get in early, else it will be a few hours of queueing easily. Then it's squeeze, push and queue again.

I hope your experiences are better!

[] Highest Turnout & TurnOver

According to the Chinese press report, this year Book Xchange has the highest turnout and turnover since it was organised several years ago..
One person carted away one thousand books. Get that person a Tiger beer.
No wonder when I went there after 2pm, books were fewer and selection was poor compared to last year.
So the early birds caught the juicy worms.

I had 42 coupons. I gave 12 to my sis-in-law. Another 12 to a cleaning lady who cleans my apartment weekly; she is from China with a primary 4 son.
Later that day, a library staff distributed unclaimed coupons; I took another 4.
Between 4.30 and 5, you could exchange 1 coupon for 2 books; many scrambled to the checkout line.
