Native mail app in iOS

Have done a fair bit of googling to see if there’s anyway to lock the defaul mail app either by password or face ID but it seems no way.

Just curious if anyone knows whether there is anyway around this? Am using spark mail now only cos it requires face scan or pw each time i leave & go back.

Can set privacy lock to "lock" the app instead.
