need advice graphic card

My graphic card PowerColor hd7870, in last game, make my screen all green line.Cannot get into windows and did a fresh install. Reinstall everything and all ok. But install graphic card driver I cannot get into windows again. So its time to retire my graphic card.

So need advice from gurus. what specs must i compare graphic card performance?
Can all graphic card fit into any motherboard?

Monitor resolution
1920X 1080

Gaming, games like Cossacks 3, natural selection 2.

All modern graphic card can fit all modern motherboard.

Gaming, games like Cossacks 3, natural selection 2.

A GTX 1060 would be a good card to match your CPU. Get the 6GB version if possible. Otherwise, games you play are old. A GTX 1050 Ti would be good enough lol
