When you spend USD and get your spare change in USD from the retailer in Cambodia, check for tears or poor condition of the notes.

If there is visible damage on the USD, return the note on the spot and ask for a better one. They will change.

If you don't check or accept the damaged notes, you run the risk of the next business/cashier not accepting your damaged USD.

For those who is stuck or goin to Phnom Penh in the future. Can rent my apartment via airbnb. Tho its fully booked until end sept this year unless the tenant air ticket got cancelled again to extend.

This year doubt have chance to go phnom penh. Hope covid is over soon.

Looking to travel to Phnom Penh in early September. Was wondering which hotels you guys have been to and recommend. Currently looking at either Frangipani Hotel near the riverside and Royal Palace or Aquarius Hotel which is slightly further away but less hectic. Also would 5 days be too long? Plan to go to the Genocide Museum, Killing Fields. Check out the riverside area and also the malls there.

Can stay at my apartment if you are interested. As above.
