Need advice on Gaming Rig!

Hi everyone,

this is the first time I am attempting to build a gaming PC for myself. I have been using my current PC for around 6 years and I cant even play Call of Duty: Black Ops ll and Battlefield 3. Im trying to build a PC that can last me for quite some time and will upgrade components if needed. My current budget is ranging from 1.5k~1.7k.
I have been doing some research and this is my current build in mind. Please advice me on better/cheaper components!

Conditions:
Able to play high settings on Battlefield 4 and future games.
No over clocking

Build:
CPU: 3.4Ghz Intel Core i5 4670
Motherboard: MSI Z87M Gaming
CPU Cooler: Not sure.
RAM: 8GB G-Skill RipJawX 1600MHz
SSD: Not sure.
HDD: Not sure.
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 760 OR MSI R9 280x (Which is better?)
PSU: Seasonic M12 850W
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
Case: Asgard 382

Please help me on which CPU cooler, SSD and HDD I should get!

Is the motherboard you mentioned better than Z87M?
What do you mean by "use stock"? Sorry I am relatively new to these terms!

Z87m is a matx meaning is the small motherboard not the standard size. In addition, this means that lesser slots and stuffs. Z87 board is also for over clocking if you don't over clock no need get z87 b85 is enough. Lastly b85 cheaper by close to 200. Stock fans means the default fans that comes with the processor
