Need advice on new rig

Hi guys,
My pc of 5 years has just died on me, and i'm looking to replace it with a new pc. My specs:
-hackintosh - mainly for some simple iOS programming, to support mountain lion
-gaming - I play d3, skyrim, not really into cutting edge, but as long as able to support latest games it should be fine. Not interested in overclocking.
-other uses: hd movies, possibly some simple video/ audio editing/processing, net surfing
Already have a 27" dell monitor, windows 7, keyboard, mouse. Also got a intel 530 2.5" SSD 250gb from amazon recently. Budget is flexible but looking at $1200. Not very experienced at DIY so would prefer custom built.

Most Gigabyte motherboards are Hackintosh-friendly...

Thx guys, didn't read closely enough to notice he was planning to build one.

Was trying to educate myself the differences between the Z, H and B mobos made by MSI and it mainly boils down to RAID and OC. Or so it seems to the layman that's me..

Great resource. Strange though that while the B85 is supposed to be a chipset catered for business rather than consumer users it's been so widely recommended for gamers here. I'm thinking of getting it too, not planning to OC or use RAID.

All the marketing gimmick. Real enthusiasts skip all these nonsense and get what they really need and thus PROFIT.

I will say b85 is more basic then business

Just get wad u need, dun get things that u won't use ~
