Hi guys, looking to build a balance between workstation and gaming cpu. Around 2.3k + -

Asrock H97-Pro 4 + I7 4790
Palit GTX970 Jetstream 4GB
Samsung DVD Drive
ADATA SP900 256GB
Western Digital Red 2TB
Gskill RipjawsX 1600Mhz 32GB (8GB*4)
Seasonic G650 650W 80+ Gold Semi Modular PSU
Fractal Design Define R5 Windowed
Windows 8.1 Home Premium Digital License

Any advice on the build?

Thanks!

Hmmm

i7-4770 + MSI H81M-E35 @ 452
2x8GB Strontium DDR3-1600 @148
Samsung 850 EVO 250GB @ 175
WD Green 2TB @ 107
Samsung DVD Drive @ 21
Palit GTX980Ti @1035
Seasonic M12-II 620W @115
Fractal Core 1500 @ 89
Windows 7 Home Premium @ 135

Total 2277 if I never calculate wrongly
I picked the i7-4770 cause it is cheaper, the mobo cause it has more USB 3.0 ports for its price.
Dropped the RAM to 16GB because the board can only address up to 32GB (which will become 31GB due to architecture limitation) and I think 16GB is enough for a workstation/gaming hybrid PC (I also run a workstation/gaming hybrid)
Samsung is a better value when it comes to SSDs
I picked the 980Ti cause more programs are using GPU acceleration and that monster of a GPU will give a great boost, especially if you do 3D rendering like me.
