Need advice on SSD

I have only 1TB SSD currently, am getting a 4TB to replace the old one.

Can any kind souls advice how to clone/copy/image the current 1TB onto the new 4TB SSD? Including the Win10 OS, Steam games, EPIC games, and all data lah basically.

Use macrium reflect, is free to use and very easy. Can go search they have guide provided / video also.

Before starting the clone process, I would suggest to clear the system cache as video below which will help to reduce the size and cleaner data of your current SSD.

The step is the same for windows 10

Install OS fresh is the best, all your years of extra gunk gone....Fresh install of Windows 11 too if your PC is compatible.

Games, you only need to backup documents folder as it contains your save game files. Later just only install the games from the store apps that you are going to play.

Also why replace, my most ancient SSD used for almost 8 years and still have 60% health... You can just add on. A typical PC can have a lot of SSDs, only exception being a laptop which usually only have space for at most 2.

Only 2 really important thing you need. Backup all your usernames/passwords(Steam/Browsers/Windows account/etc) and important data (Downloadable games don't count. Irreplaceable family photos, etc). Just in case, everything went kaput in acts of god situations.

Just do a fresh install will be faster as well as PC will perform faster.
Programs, games etc. have to download and reinstall.
Files like documents etc. best to backup than transfer onto the new drive.
Or after the new drive have been installed with Windows, plug in the old
SSD than copy any documents from there before erasing it.
