Need advice on upgrading a old pc

Hi Guys,

After a patch update by valve on csgo 6 mths ago or so, my csgo can only play on low settings and tend to stop responding. PC usage increased greatly when I load csgo.

Specs as follows:
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2ghz 30/12/2009
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-MA785GT-UD3H 30/12/2009
RAM: Kingston DDR3 1333 2GB X2
HDD: Hitachi 80GB Sata main / Seagate 500GB secondary
GPU: Sapphire 1GB 6850 DDR5 25/5/12
PSU: Seasonic 520W 25/5/12
OS: Win7 32bit

Budget around $500
Would like to know what are my options for upgrade. Thanks in advance for the help!

I wonder why with those spec you are only able to play with LOW settings.... Go update your GPU drivers. Even my old C2D/5570/2gb ram system was able to play it on mid-high.
