Hello, for a long time, I was "macho" and didn't bother to use facial products. Now, I realise that there is a benefit to good looking skin, and seek your advice on skincare products.

Here is a picture of my face

What products do I need for the areas, how much would they cost and where can I buy them from?
(If you can tell me the name of the condition, I would appreciate it as well. Total noob here :s11::s11::s11:)
1.
2.
3.

In addition, should I visit a dermatologist for these problems? Would you recommend me to use BB cream?
Thanks

Not really bad in my IMO, I have seen worse... for active pimples, you can try the new Vichy hyluspot or On-the-Spot acne treatment by Neutrogena (2.5% benzoyl peroxide is gd enough).

As for pits, I would suggest that you go for chemical peels or CO2 laser. Treat it while you're young, the older you go for such treatments the lesser the results.

It will go away eventually. All part of growing up.. I'm 35... I still get 1 or 2 pimples once in a while, I learnt not to pick it/them and just apply topical med. Personal experience, CO2 fractional laser result is fantastic... check out on youtube or google it.

Depends who you go to, the charges varies... $400 to $1000 per treatment.

I only did 2 treatments.

Looks like pimple scars? My friend went to Sloane clinic for some treatments and now his skin look very good. Maybe can call them and ask for the price of treatments?

those pits scars can be removed??

30% to 50%... won't be 100%...I'm saying there will be pits if you see them closer cos you are not filling the pits will fillers. (fillers last 1 yr at most)

hmmm... imo... for guys, its okay not to have perfect skin.. not gonna say that it gives character but men are still men.

First

clean your room, ensure theres no dust or stuff which your skin might be allergic

Second

Avoid eating too much oily and fried food, drink more water

third,

Stop scratching with dirty hands, and wash them regularly with soap.

Most problem arises from dirty surrounding or bad diet......

Just my 2cents

Drink lots of water. Sleep well. Get plenty of rest.

Stay away from processed and fried food. If you do that continually for a few months, plus use a nightly regiment of Bio-Oil (dab on scars), should see improvement.

Errr I think it's just redness. I cant seem to get rid of it. :( I am still a teen btw.

That's not too bad... Remember DON'T BUY skin lightening product... it will not work on the redness. The redness will recover by itself between 2 to 9 mths... really depends on individual skin condition. If the redness bothers you that much, use a concealer. I will suggest to get 2 shades so that you can blend to your skin colour, and cream base is the best cover up.
A few of the good ones i've used.
Amazing Concealer (SG$49 at Sephora)

Maybelline perfectc concealer (SG$12 at Watson or Guardian)

Trial and error... until you are gd enough, pple will not even think that you're wearing a concealer.

You're a teen... most important is not to pick the zits, apply a gd acne cream before bedtime is good enough.. it's part of growing up.
