Need help building a desktop

I need some help to build a Desktop for work like, programming, photoshop(frequently), some video editing(seldom) and maybe games such as, Dota2.

Not including: Monitor and HDD.
Budget 1.2k.

Avoid the 1060 3GB edition, it actually uses slower RAM and is a nerf.

For RAM, always pick 2 sticks (2x8GB) so you get dual-channel.

The Stock Intel cooler will be LOUD. Be prepared.

Good choice. The 2600 is only abit slower than the 8700k with a much lower pricetag. RX580 is basically a much newer 1060 by AMD. Quite a good price for a 1060/1080p gaming system.

You mentioned light gaming. 1060/1070ti is pure overkill. A cheapo 1050 or 1050ti or even a 970 can easily run dota2 at >120fps. Do consider those instead.

If you plan to overclock, definitely get an aftermarket cooler like Hyper 212, ownself install or upgrade with Aftershock. Worth the investment. Not to mention the stock AMD coolers are quite loud and weak. Quite a good deal overall.
