Mainly play dota 2, stimulation games like Football Manager and maybe some MMORPG like blade and soul. Also surf net, watch movies etc etc

Budget will be around 1k to 1.2k with windows 7. No need mouse, keyboard, monitor and speakers.

Thanks alot! :D

CPU+ Mobo: ASUS H81M-A+ i3 4150 (235)
RAM: G.SKILL RIPJAWS-X 1600MHZ ( 4GBx2pcs ) CL9 (118)
GPU: LEADTEK GTX 750 TI 2GB O.C (225)
SSD: CRUCIAL MX100 256GB (162)
HDD: TOSHIBA 1TB 7200RPM (69)
DVD-RW: LG 24X DVD-RW SATA OEM (25)
PSU: SEASONIC S12G-Non MODULAR 550W (105)
Case: DEEP COOL TESSERACT (65)
OS: WINDOWS 7 HOME PREM (120)

Total cost: $1124

Buy at PC Themes, #04-15, and ask for discounts. DIY yourself. If you can't into DIY, go to PC Care & Solution at #02-32 and ask Nigel to help you assemble for a fee.

Notes:

Your games are not very CPU or GPU intensive, an i3 4150 and a GTX 750ti will be more than enough to drive your MMORPG of choice at 60FPS.

Let's say I wanna get an i5 and better graphic. What would you recommend. I can stretch my budget to 1.3 or 1.4. Thanks!

hmm i think blade and soul is quite heavy on GPU. My gpu temp shot up to 80-90. I'm using Powercolor HD7950. oh well, not sure if it's the gpu or the game.

Maybe you just need to use MSI Afterburner and crank up your GPU fan speed to reduce GPU temps. You are still getting smooth graphics during gameplay, right?

Thanks so much! If i don't think i need such a good graphic, would a GTX 750 TI suffice? And is there any other case that you would recommend? Thanks! :D

Yeah, the GTX 750ti will be good enough for your needs. You can try the NZXT Source 210. Cases by Fractal Design and Corsair are also popular with the people here.

Thanks so much! Is there a difference between those value ram that you recommended for the other diy and my ripjaws? And also is thermaltake g2 atx a good casing, cos i saw there's a promo going on for asus 750TI 2GB OC with the case. Really appreciate your help :D

1) Well, the Value RAMs have no heatspreader (not important if not OCing your RAM) and have a default timing of CL 11 when compared to the Ripjaws with timings of CL 9, which makes Value RAMs a tiny bit slower than the Ripjaws.

2) The G2 Versa looks like an adequate case with several mounting locations for 5.25'' and 3.5'' drives and good GPU clearances. However, I must warn you that the Versa G2 seems to lack a delicated space behind the motherboard area for cable management and you may have to stuff your cables behind the 3.5'' drives, which makes cable management potentially messy. I feel that this is a big no-no as relatively cheaper cases like the Aerocool Vs 92, which is sold at $65 (SRP for the Versa G2 is $69), has a delicated area for cable management (A bit small though, but better than nothing.) and thus having no delicated cable management area makes the Versa G2 a relatively bad buy as most cases at similar price levels have a area for cable management and thus making cable management easier. Of course, if you are the type of builder that simply dumps the unused cables into the case and heck care airflow and asthetics, then I have nothing to say.

Thanks so much! I'll take into considerations for your suggestion! Still thinking of which case to get
