need help deciding chip and mobo

so i was decided on a z97 killer and a 4790k but the price a little put offish. so now can help me find a better combo? should i stick with the z97 killer or drop to z87 killer since i don't really need the m2 slot. then for chip i wanted the 4790k since that 5.0 ghz oc was so tempting but decided i don't actually need that. so now do i go for a i5 4690k or the i7 3770k or maybe i should stick with the 4790k really confused now and need help. i will mostly use this build for gaming but also will do a decent amount of video editing and rendering (about 1-2hr of footage at 720p a day?)

You can't put 3770K in a Z87 mobo. Besides it's EOL already

Even so, i dun tink u need k cpu... normal i7 with b85 will do. Z97 wun reduce ur hours to 30 mins of 1080p.

Video encoding? Most often bottleneck at hard disk
