Hi guys, I would like a recommendation for a gaming pc that has a blue color theme. I do not intend to overclock as well. Here are some requirements I would like:
Mobo
Gpu
1tb hdd
Modular Psu
8gb ram
CPU case

I would like to keep my budget to 1k-1.5k. Please advise! Thank you!

I did some research and found that the mobo and ram config is what I have been looking for. Thanks for the sugguestion.

I have read a couple of post in HWZ and it seemed like 280x is pretty bang for the buck right now but i am just curious are there any complaints or drawback?

For the case, would it be a good choice to go for CM storm stryker? I've seen a couple of nice build with blue themed in that rig. clean and sleak. are there any complaints about that case ?

Also the PSU seemed to be not fully modular (based on some unboxing videos i checked out). would it be the same if i had gotten cosair GS700 too?

GS700 is not even a modular psu. I know what you looking for in PSU. The blue LED. But in market by far only got 3 that has blue LED. One is My PSU on the right ----> golden green 850w and the other is the GS series. The other is Coolermaster GX series. Fully modular no. Only semi modular. Is not a big fuss. Those cables that are non modular is essential cables that most like have to use. Like 24pin mobo, 8pin 12V or perhaps an additional 6+2pin PCIE for gpu.

Chassis wise is up to you to decide, as it is more of a personal preference. The one you chose is $250++.

GPU i suggest you do a search for some of the threads here.

Psu i would prefer a fully modular unit as im switching out the cables for a more customized color (blue/black) cables that i have found at SLS.

Then im afraid there is non with blue LED atm. If do not need it then can look at a few corsair/seasonic PSU that are fully mod.

Like the RM650 series for corsair. But is yellow stickers.
