Need help! New PC can't post

Hi guys, need your help. I just assembled a new PC with below specs but somehow it doesn't post.

ASUS Z170i Pro Gaming Mini ITX
Intel 6700K CPU
BeQuiet Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler
Corsair Vengeance DDR 4 LPX RAM
Samsung 840 1TB SSD
Corsair RM650i PSU

I'm not using an external GPU at this stage. Monitor is connected to HDMI port on the motherboard.

After connecting everything, at power up, the system start up and fans spin. A red light appears near CPU, disappears, then appears near RAM, disappears, then appears near GPU slot (manual says this is the VGA warning light) and disappears. At this point, can hear the system shut down but the fans still spinning. The red light then appears where the manual says boot device warning light and stays on.

What is wrong? The manual says that if there is something wrong, the red light blinks. But in my case the light appear then disappear. Didn't blink. I have already taken out the cmos battery but same thing happened.

Any ideas?

Maybe u can try removing the HDD and ram and leave your CPU and PSU in it. See if u can hear anything.

Next maybe u can double check your CPU and CPU fans if u have fixed it properly?

I removed both sticks of RAM and the motherboard shows constant red light at RAM area indicating RAM issue but PC stays on.

I put in 1 stick of RAM, the PC shuts down with fans spinning. Swap RAM sticks around to each slot same thing.

Does this mean RAM issue?

Of course not. Power off and disconnect power cable before swapping.

Try to connect using VGA instead of HDMI. I am guessing the bios failed to find a PCIe graphics card.

There's no VGA port on this motherboard.

if you installed a discreet graphic card , connect the monitor to this card instead of the onboard HDMI port.
