Need help on speaker recommendation

Haven't kept up with speaker technology for a long time, currently still using swans M50 for my desktop PC. Was thinking of changing to a more compact speaker hopefully without subwoofer?

Doing some gaming and watching videos, not really a fan of deep heavy bass. Is 2.1 speakers still the best option out there or is there a new single speaker that can perform everything these days? Thanks!

Logitech Z407 around $150, the bass is not overpowered or too strong.
The bass and mid-range are blend in nicely.
The Swan is a big speaker so if you are not into loud/big sound this speaker will do fine.

Alternative will be Logitech Z313

This one is cheaper around $50 but I mention this is not because of the price.
The RMS/power is much lower than Z407 but it sound decently.
The design is the same as Z407 so mid-range and bass is blend in nicely.

For both Z407 and Z313 there's no bass knob so meaning the bass is tuned.
Lower RMS/power speaker means softer volume.
You can try these two speaker out but you won't go wrong with either since I have both of them.

Creative & Razer hae some nice pc soundbras

Or get a TV soundbar

Is have but the sound and bass isn't that good as compare with traditional 2.1 speaker.
If you want something more neat than get Z407 cuz the speaker can titlt and
place under monitor.

Same reason for getting rid of the sub woofer..
