Hi all.

I want to put together a simple circuit that controls a fan speed. The power source is from a 9V battery. All it needs to do is, control the fan speed to maybe slow to max.

What are the components i need?
xK potentiometer?
x resistor?
on/off switch?
motor of what impedance?

Please assist. If there is a simple circuit diagram for me to copy, for beginner, that would be very helpful.
