for i5 not much difference if you are playing games like cs go all those, difference come in when you play multi threaded games like BF4. and also the speed you are referring might mean loading of games and stuffs. those are affected by the SSD and HDD speed not processor. Lastly, if you want a high framerate for gaming and at higher settings, 750ti might not be enough for AAA games.

Any game which is hyped big time, published by a big name, and claims to melt your graphics card.

Crysis 3, Battlefield 4, Watch_Dogs, Metro Last Light, Star Citizen are examples

Somebody called?

Yeah, that $987 build of mine will do very well in CS, Skyrim and Diablo. However, as Dragon Age: Inquisition is not out yet, I am unable to perdict the recommended system requirements for this game. However, as Dragon Age is a FPS/RPG hybrid, I can expect the game to be demand for GPU processing power and a GTX 750ti may not cut it if you want to play at max settings.

If you want to play Dragon Age: Inquisition at max settings, this should minimally be the rig to aim for:

CPU+ Mobo: ASROCK H81M-HDS+ i5 4460 (310)
RAM: 2X G.SKILL PC 12800/1600MHZ DDR3 CL11 VALUE RAM (4GB) (106)
GPU: POWER COLOR R9 280X 3GB TURBODUO (418)
SSD: CRUCIAL MX100 256GB (162)
HDD: TOSHIBA 1TB 7200RPM (69)
DVD-RW: LG 24X DVD-RW SATA OEM (25)
PSU: SEASONIC S12G-Non MODULAR 650W (129)
Case: DEEPCOOL TESSERACT (65)

Total cost: $1284

Buy at PC Themes, #04-15, and ask for discounts. DIY yourself. If you can't into DIY, go to PC Care & Solution at #02-32 and ask Nigel to help you assemble for a fee.

Disclaimer:
As Dragon Age: Inquisition is not out yet, the system requirement for this game is still unknown and hence there is a chance that this rig may be unable to play Dragon Age: Inquisition smoothly at max settings.

Star Citizen is not published by a big name and it can really melt your card

also TS and all if you are keen to try Star Citizen to just benchmark your GPU (Disclaimer: still in pre-alpha but can really test your GPU)

the game is running on CryEngine.

there is a one week free trial for all:
