Anyone can help me by recommending me what particular parts to build a gaming rig ?
Not a hard core gamer that requires everything to be ultra sharp/clear. But decent.

i7-3770 core , would it be good enough ? as compare to those extreme cores.
8GB Cosair RAM @ 2133 MHZ ?

256GB Samsung SSD
GTX 670 GPU With 2 GB of RAM

Casing + motherboard and PSU.

What will the total estimated cost be ?

PS , Will need windows 7 OS.

No need wifi adapter , keyboard and mouse as i have them.

What I think is that if you can wait a while. Haswell is coming out in months time.

The most important thing is not actually the performance or power saving from the upgrade. But the availability of the 7 series motherboard 3 years on.

Buy and build at Tradepac.

Some things to take note when dealing with Tradepac:

• Be firm with your decision when buying from Tradepac. Don't be swayed by their sales assistant to upgrade and buy more expensive components which you don't require.
• Check all the components you plan to purchase are correct before you make payment.
• Stay at the shop and supervise them as they assemble your rig and make sure they return all spare chassis parts. You might want to take note that Tradepac cable management skills may not be up to your satisfactory level.

If you don't mind paying slightly more for better customer service, can go PC Themes. Look for Yilong (tall, big sized chinese guy), he is approachable and open for price negotiation as well.

You don't need an i7 for gaming unless you intend to use the rig for graphic rendering as well.

i5 and i7 performs the same in terms of gaming and you won't make use of hypertrending feature in i7 for gaming. Therefore, if this is a pure gaming rig, you are actually topping up an extra $100-$200 for minimal impact on your gameplay. In other words, total waste of money.

As for estimated cost, you can always refer to the price list download of individual shops.

I think it's around $749? Expensive but I believe the quality should be there. :x it's one of a few 27" monitors in the market whiich has a resolution of 2560 x 1440.
