Amanohasidate is easily 3hrs from Hoshinoya Kyoto with many transfers. If you want to propose there, she might change her mind on the way back lol

Maybe other nearby sites you can consider? Arashiyama has a boat ride which couples like to take. Maybe Hoshinoya can do something special for you.

Amanohasidate a little far and not so accessible from Kyoto.

Haha we making a day trip there bah lol, but both of us wanted to see 1 of the scenic view haha.. do you guys think Hosni you Tokyo or Kyoto or Fuji nicer? I think Fuji looks nicer but the location of the resort like a bit far off :(

I wish I had the the accessibility of hoshinoya Tokyo
The backdrop of hoshinoya Fuji
And the vibes of hoshinoya Kyoto lol

Actually we have a photoshoot day at Kyoto lol.. but I think she is guesseing I am going to propose there, that was why I think of proposing in Amano haha.. shag dunno how lol

Hoshinoya Tokyo is around Tokyo station itself so the atmosphere is way different compared to Kyoto.

If you are arranging for photoshoot, I presume the message is already quite clear so might as well pop the question there? Just be careful of lingering PRC tourists which might spoil the mood. :s13:

Fuji area is good and not as crowded as Kyoto unless its a weekend or public holiday. Just need to decide whether its Hakone, Kawaguchiko, etc. Plenty of good ryokans out there. Doesnt have to be Hoshinoya.

The casual walk street in kimono shoot with hired photographer?

Did that recently.

Actually proposal during shoot is good. Got photographer to snap that moment and then photos after can use for AD album..

Amanohoshidate is really far.
I changed my mind about visiting it as it was too tedious travelling there.

If I were the girl being propose to, I would love Cafe Pic in Gora Park at Hakone. It is a quaint French cafe with a fountain in front.
Very serene and romantic.

During the Wisteria season, I heard it is beautiful.

haha thanks guys, cant seem to decide :( but i can propose during the photo shoot itself bah. since we having a 2hr photoshoot which i have already booked lol..

my initial plan was to propose during the photo shoot at Kyoto bah :) yet to discuss with the photographer itself bah. we will be renting couple kimono set for the photoshooting.

dont think i will hit the Wisteria season as i am going on march lol :/

problem is cant decide which accoms to stay :(

all seems nice... but not sure which i want D:

the most ex is Tokyo followed by kyoto and fuji..

fuji has superb view.

kyoto has a unique experience.

Tokyo is convenient yet superb experience

i think? not sure.. been pondering this question for dam long already :/

i have already book a ryokan at takayam for 3D2N which i am staying at Oyado koto no yume. which i guess its quite ok right?:X dunno still want stay at tradtional ryokan or not or shift to a difference experience/ambiance.

i saw the journey from osaka> fuji is like farrrr haha!

dunno is it worth travelling all the way there or not. and as u guys say :X travel to amno is already a killer lol.. fuji will be even longer lol..

Ubuya, their in room is not onsen water....

Konasou relatively value for money, i would rate it as average
