My wife's computer was running fine until one day the computer wont boot. I tried some basic troubleshooting and determined it was the mobo, so i brought it for RMA.
A replacement board(1st) was given to me that day and I went home to install it. It was working fine for the night. Next day, cannot boot again. So I went to RMA the board and was given another board(2nd), that board could not boot, so I send it back and was given one more board(3rd) to try. This board could not boot as well. Now, they are sending my original board for repair and they didn't have any spare boards to swap with me.
Could this be bad luck? Or could there be other under lying reasons like what the guy at the service center told me. If it is another component fault, then my guess is the PSU. The service center told me maybe the casing is shorted, like IO ports, etc(no idea what that means)...
Anything I have similar problems before, please help
