Need help with PSP!

I have a problem with my psp. It shuts down by itself without any warnings and I can't turn it back on after that. I can only turn it back on after leaving the psp battery out for a few days.

The part I circled in my attached picture is burnt on my psp's motherboard. Could this be the reason why my psp isn't functioning properly?
