Currently working, lost touch with school life tbh. I have a higher nitec cert in facilities management (built environment) and am interested to enroll into a part-time diploma IT course, is it advisable to do so or should i enroll into a part-time higher nitec IT course instead?
Need some advice.

Since you already have Higher Nitec, why not do a Diploma in IT to level up? Since you are spending time and money, it makes sense to be progress to a Diploma. There are Diploma in IT that can be done on a part-time basis.
The chances of me getting into one is slim as my higher Nitec cert is irrelevant to IT

have you decided which school you wanted to go to if applying the diploma in it ? check out their entry requirements. some may require you to do extra study before you can enrol in the actual course like a foundation course like this.
Network & Systems
NYP but they only accept relevant nitec/hnitec cert which i don't have.
