Need some feed back

Before I enter poly I was from ite nitec and my GPA back then was close to 4 when I graduated
I am currently a year 2 student in semester 1 and my cgpa is 2.6
And I am worry that I can't go into ntu engginering courses at all any advices
I have thoughts of sgining on ns after my poly if I can't make it and retake poly again because some of my lecturer say's that I am hardworking but I need to learn the concept

The reason why I don't do well is because I think that I havent been studying in year 1 and I am heavily involved in quite a number of vlounteering projects
What is a better choice ? Retaking poly again working hard and make it to local uni ? Or sgining on ns and stay till 50+-60+?

Signing on the Army is something that you have to consider carefully as it requires a lot of commitment. Why don't you consider taking a private degree?

With a Nitec, you will not go far for your WOSpec career cause there are a lot of Poly Diploma holders.

You can quit Poly but that does not mean same poly will take you back. Apart from that, you have just waste tuition grant which mean next time, your school fees will go super high.

So my advice to you is just finish your Poly Diploma & move on even you cannot enter local university.

Since you're already in Year 2, it may be best (in terms of time and resources) to just persevere and finish the course.

Whether you enter university or not is another decision to make in the future. You can always start work and go to university at a later date.

As for signing on, perhaps you want to experience what it's like to be in the military first before you make that decision.

Focus on one thing at a time. As your lecturer said, get help on learning the concepts you don't grasp now. There are many resources online, including on YouTube. Just search for the topics you need to improve on.
