Unless you're chasing cutting edge technology I would go for a 1440p setup. Even with what I have I still hit limits in games running 4K and have to tune down settings to make games playable on 4K. I see the slowdowns in games like Rise of the Tomb Raider and even GTA5 which surprised me quite a bit.

I think the next real leap will be the next gen GPU's so looking forward to see what performance improvements they have over the current RTX 2080 Ti's.
Alright! Thanks! Any 34" monitor to reccomend? Less than 1k please...

Wait for b550. Dont rush. Now world wide shortage on x570.

Reduce your gpu to rtx 2070 super and up your cpu x3900. Now on sale less then 600. Wait for tomorrow opportunity.

Using R5 3600 expect alot of microstarter on 1440p gaming. :(

Always build your gaming based on your monitor. No point getting RTX2080 Super if u not on 4k
Hi, will the b550 be compatible with the micro-ATX cases ?

B450 and B550 are just platforms just like X570. So to answer your question, yes the manufacturers will be making all the different size motherboards to grab market-share
