Hi guys, I'm currently a uni student and needing of a new laptop for both school use and Wow.
I was thinking of surface 4 but heard that it's not very good for gaming but honestly a touch screen is really useful for school. Open to any suggestions preferably arnd 2k and below; preference for a touch screen if possible but not a must!

Thanks for reading and ur suggestions!!

Lenovo issues

My sister got a Lenovo 710s and has given her a lot of problems. Got my fiancee a Thinkpad T460s and she also faced some software problems. Went down to the Lenovo service centre and they give all sorts of excuses instead of being helpful.

I used to be a huge thinkpad fan but now I will be very cautious before buying another Lenovo laptop.

My friend who regularly services laptop says that the HP Elitebook range is worth considering, so you may want to take a look at that.

Hi Guys,
Thinking of getting Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (7570) I7-8th Gen laptop. Is it worth getting?

I tried comparing to Asus and Lenovo but non of them seems to have any spec or price close to it.

Thank you.

Looks like i was wrong about iGPUs for WOW(WOW turns out to be more cpu intensive)

If you dont mind lower settings at 1080p, it seems the 620 iGPU in ultrabooks can actually run WOW pretty well.

But heat-wise, I wont be surprised if the ultrabook begins to overheat after prolonged gaming. Ultrabooks are not made for that. So yes, technically the surface pro 4 or 5/2017 is more than capable of running WOW. But will an ultrabook overheat while playing WOW for an hour or more? Probably.
