Hello bros,

iI am trying to build a budget PC for a friend at around $1000. main usage will be csgo and dota 2 preferably in high settings. i will prefer everything to be bought at 1 shop in SLS. i will also like the computer to be easily upgradable i.e just add more RAM or simply change GPU in the future. Below are the parts i chose. its a little over budget now. anything you guys feel i should drop or lower to fit into the budget?

price taken from pcthemes as of 28 Jun

MSI B150M Bazooka + i5 6500 - 428
Kingston DDR4 2133MHz CL15 8GB - 47
Zotac MLC 120GB SSD - 65
Toshiba 1TB HDD - 64
MSI GTX 960 4GB Gaming OC - 369
Seasonic M12II-Modular 520w - 99
Corsair 100R Window Edition - 85
Total 1157

No OC, OS, keyboard, mouse or monitor required. thanks! :)

Ram 1 x 8gb kingston value ram
Gfx card wait for rx 480. Shld be this week can get ba or nxt week.
Psu superflower leadex 650 silver full modular

Sent from Samsung SM-G935F using GAGT

good idea on dropping ram to 1 stick even though only save a few dollars :( yeah i think will wait till amd comes out with their RX400 series. gpus are still so expensive.

Superflower Leadex 550w Silver F.Mod at $119.. even more expensive leh.

good idea. i was still thinking how to drop the cost of CPU. would i5 6400 suffice? even though its just $20 difference. GPU all about the same price for 960.. the most is another $20 difference...

Cpu best still keep using 6500

As for GPU maybe can consider using GTX 950. Cos for csgo and dots are cpu dependent game den gpu dependent.

Why are you taking prices from PC Themes? Aren't there cheaper alternatives from other stores in SLS
