New Rig. Get now or wait?

I’m looking to build a new PC that will probably use graphics card around the range of gtx1070. Can I check for expert opinions, given the new rtx graphics card announcement, is it better to wait abit to build my PC or it doesn’t really matter because there won’t be a steep price drop (for 1070 card)?

The wait will never stop, and no, gtx 10 series not likely to drop due to new launch unless you're speaking of 2nd hand stuff from Carousell.

Haha. Ya. Normally won’t bother to wait. But thought since this is a major gpu release things might be different. Guess I’ll just go ahead since experts here have advised otherwise.
