New Rig Recommendations

Hi all,
I'm currently using the MSI GS 70 Stealth gaming laptop and thought of selling it to build an ITX gaming rig.

Can anyone recommend me an ITX gaming build? I mainly just play dota 2 and diablo 3 and using a 24" Dell monitor.

I'm just thinking if in the near future, if I upgrade to a 27" monitor will this GPU be able to support it I also need wifi for my motherboard. (sorry, forgot to mention) cos my router is in the living room.

U can get a USB adapter for ur wifi or u can get another itx mobo with inbuilt wifi

The gtx750 ti does support 1440p or 27" monitor, but if u intend to play next gen games with it it's gonna be at low-med settings. As for Dota and diablo 3 it should still be fine. U need to consider if u are going to play latest titles next time or wad ? If u do u gonna need better upgrade options which means a bigger case to house a longer gpu, and a slightly higher psu to support it

Hmmm, I'm really not interested in games like BF4. So far I only played games like dota 2 and diablo 3. Then will this GPU support videos at 1440p or a 27" monitor?

As long as the GPU can support dota 2, diablo 3 and watching videos from a 27" monitor, i think it should be sufficient for me.

I recommend Cooler Master e120 size and above..
If you go for good looking case, Bitfenix Prodigy. Because the rest just look like a box. If you go for most affordable, Coolermaster Elite cases. If you go for quality, still Bitfenix. Unless you like simplicity, then can consider fractal node, thermaltake, Jonsbo, Lianli & silverstone (which costs a lot).

In terms of parts, really, dota 2 doesn't need a very expensive rig to play. You can go with the aforementioned build.

yea. I don't quite like the CM 110. Bitefenix or the Corsair 250d looks gd to me. I asked tradepac if they have the bitfenix case but they dont have it. Should I buy the casing from another shop or just go to another shop for everything else.

You check with TP first for the hardware bundle price without casing first. Then, compare with the other shop that has everything you need. Do share if you end up buying all if not your bulk of hardware from TP. Have fun hooting!
