Hi guys/gals,
seems like as my age is catching on, the excitement and enthusiasm to build a gaming rig from scratch is fading.. hence i got this budget on hand and see if i can buy off the shelf pc for gaming which can run smooth on the 34" curved LCD (not decided which brand either G-syn or freesyn)

please help me out..
the PC has to be quiet too..
was looking at Asus GR8 but doubt its powerful enough to run high end games on the 34" monitor..

Thanks in advance...
budget ard 3k for both pc and the monitor

a 34" Curved monitor should set you back by at least $1k.

$2k for a probably wont give you the best specs to power the monitor. assuming you're using 3440x1440

Actually 3k budget for 34" curved monitor with gsync and a PC specs not really big budget..

Acer x34 already cost you 1.4k, you left with 1.6k
If you get 980TI (recommended card for 34" monitor at semi 4k resolution for x34) its around $900. You left with $700 for the rest of your stuff..

I'm no expert in component parts actually so I'll let the rest comment on the remaining 700 :p

the problem with dreaming of a 34" 4K setup machine is always the price. you can't really do much with 3k considering you will need a hell of a GPU for a mere decent gaming performance and 34" monitors are freaking expensive.
