New ryzen rig can't bootup

Got myself a new cpu+mobo+ram and reuse all other stuff, but there was no display, no beep when i turn on the power.
Cpu+chasis fan/lights are running fine.

New parts
=======
Cpu: ryzen 2600x
mobo: Asus b450-i (has ryzen 2000 ready sticker)
Ram: Corsair vengence lpx 3000mhz 16gb x 2 CMK32GX4M2B3000C15 (i saw this model is compatible in some amd ryzen ram compatibility list)

Old parts (100% working, cus my old intel cpu pc was fully functional)

evga supernova g3 550w gold
zotac 1070 mini
intel 480gb ssd
wd hdd 1tb

Googled online, some say need update bios, some say clear cmos. I tried clearing cmos with screwdriver by shorting the 2 pins, not sure if i did it correctly, still doesn't work.
As for updating bios, there wasn't a display, can i still update the bios? or is there even a need to? since the mobo says ryzen 2000 ready

Anyone using this board? care to shed some light?

update: got the issue solved, didn't thought i'll need to plug 8pin power connector into new MB as i do not need it on my old intel MB

Try reinserting your RAM, making sure the ram clips in properly. Some motherboards have annoying one-sided clip ram slots that make it look like its inserted properly when its not.

It has a row of LEDs right above the 24 pin ATX power connector.

Which LED is it stuck at?

just tried resitting the rams and remount the cpu, same problem

everytime i test the rig, i have to dismantle my old intel frm the case and set up the ryzen. If it doesn't work, i have to set up my intel to use the pc again

@wataru also, didn't notice the LED lights as i was setting up the pc when u commented

1) u can clear cmos by removing the battery. but make sure u unplug ur power plug before doing that else removing the battery will not help.

2) remove ur gfx card. assuming u are using the ROG board, there should be an onboard HDMI 2.0.

3) like many said, remove the ram and left with a single stick.

4) if cannot, go back to ur intel rig and see whether can or not.

5) if can boot up ur intel rig, likelihood ur board DOA.

I tot the non G series ryzen processors do not have on board graphics? My 2600x will not boot with integrated graphics on my x470 mb. Need to use an external gpu

i just received my 2600x today also, then cable mgmt do swee swee liao then power up and got nothing on screen too.. fans and lights all running..

and then i realised i forgot to connect the 8pin power to the mobo (v dumb of me.. )

remove cpu from socket and reseat it.

How long did you wait before finally you concluded its not working?
I read that Ryzen is very sensitive to RAM sticks, During the very first boot, sometimes the CPU with spent a ridiculous amount of time to "shake hands" with the RAM.

I had issues with Corsair rams with my Ryzen rig at the start despite it did indicate that it is compatible. Switched rams and it worked. Now using Klevv rams with no issues.
