Newbie question about Shopify settings

Merry X'mas to everyone here.. I am trying to setup a Shopify store and just want to ask when setting up payment gateways for Shopify payment, what should I do if I do not have a Employer Identification Number (EIN) which it ask for ? Also in general settings, if my want to sell to US, do I need to select currency ro USD rather then SGD ? Appreciate anyone who has done it give me some tips..thanks alot
