The Toto jackpot has once again snowballed to $10 million after the past three draws yielded no winners.

The upcoming Toto draw on Thursday (Oct 23) will be a cascade draw, which is triggered when there are no Group 1 winners for three consecutive draws.

This is the 11th time that the Toto Group 1 prize has snowballed to $10 million in 2025.

there are 104 draws in a year
u need 3 draws of no win for 1 mega draw where somehow the jackpot will reset to just 1mil on the 5th draw

approx there should be 20 megadraw in a year
this year only 11th time
wah slightly more than 50% only

first time buying iTOTO.

after asking gemini

interesting real life story...

The core insight, inspired by figures like Stefan Mandel, is that the only way to guarantee a win is to purchase every single combination when the jackpot is high enough to cover the total cost and still turn a profit.

For Singapore TOTO (6-out-of-49), the total number of ordinary combinations is:
At $1 per entry, the cost to cover all combinations is nearly $14 million. This is not a "feasible strategy" for an ordinary punter.
This is the most direct application of the "Mandel" insight for the common person, and it is explicitly offered by Singapore Pools as Group TOTO or indirectly through iTOTO (where you buy units of a Quick Pick System 12 entry).

The Math Behind iTOTO's Higher Chance

The key to iTOTO's increased chance is that it is a Group-Shared System 12 Entry.

  1. System 12 Entry: A full System 12 entry costs $924 and covers 924 unique combinations of 6 numbers. This single ticket has a chance of winning the jackpot that is 924 times higher than a $1 Ordinary/Quick Pick ticket.1

  2. iTOTO Splitting: Singapore Pools divides this $924 System 12 ticket into 28 equal units at $33 per unit ($924 2$\div$ 28 = $33).3

When you buy one unit of iTOTO for $33, you are buying a $33 share of a $924 bet that covers 924 combinations.4

  • iTOTO ($33): Covers 924 combinations (shared).
  • System 7 ($7): Covers 7 combinations (individual).
  • Quick Pick ($1): Covers 1 combination (individual).
For your $33, you are leveraged into a massive 924-combination bet, giving you a substantially higher probability of winning any prize (from Group 1 to Group 7).
