NFC SIM payment experience?

I do have nfc sim card and ezlink payment on nfc. But seriously, this is not useful.. hahas

Just wondering why hasn't NFCsim taken off, especially with so many people carrying NFC enabled phones.

Requires nfc phone with nfc sim card.
Would like to try it out, but Telco charges $$ to change normal sim to nfc sim.

it comes pre-loaded with a $5 fund, so its still cheaper than ordinary sim card.

I got it for the experience of using nfc payment, but it wasn't exactly convenient since ezlink payment is still primitive.

Ongoing trials have been conducted for nfc payment in transportation, but it hasn't exactly took off due to low number of users. Nation wide implementation requires more takers in order to make it value for money.
