I am still working on my art pieces before I submit them to some of the NFT marketplaces (eg SuperRare, MakersPlace, Foundation). I think it is very hard to get into SuperRare and MakersPlace, while Foundation should be easier.

She made quite a lot of money simply by selling her art.

note: title error, should be fueling not feeling.

You must get accepted into one of the NFT art marketplaces first as a creator.

Is music fungible ah?

Hmm...not sure leh. But there are artists that embed the music into a gif, then mint into an NFT.

Oh I get what you meant.

There is a process called minting, which creates the NFT to associate with the artwork when you submit the art link and relevant pricing information as a creator. Then you choose the amount of ETH gas fees to pay and wait for the transaction to complete. These are all done on the NFT art marketplaces themselves through the use of webforms, only after you get accepted as a creator.

Well, I generally would stay clear of infringing other company's copyrights.

I don't think this hyoe can last long... People can screenshot your picture and use it. Nft only give you ownership of the digital picture and nothing else..

As long as there are NFT art collectors willing to give out free ETH like toilet paper, I don't mind attempting to sell my digital art. It is free money anyway.

I don't think those art collectors collect NFT art because of hype, because the number of collectors is still very low compared to the number of artists wanting to be painting sellers.

Besides, this is a sustainable strategy to monetise art assets before the game software application is completed. No need to go and submit pitches to publishers and VCs.

Yeah but let’s say I’m a photographer and have some nice photos, but in order to create an NFT, I have to make it more cool, like adding special effects to it and turn into a gif

How do I do that?

Think DC is just not happy they don’t get a piece of the pie.

Not really free right, there’s registration fee. And some gas price thing that’s increasing, haven’t figured this out yet.

Also there is a way to encode everytime the art changes hands, a cut goes back to the original creator, that’ll be nice.

I have not submitted my application to SuperRare yet, much less gotten accepted as a creator. So I won't know all the file formats. But based on what madmaraca had created, there should be a variety of file formats (png jpeg gif mp4).

You can check out the file formats by inspecting the page source.

Use Adobe After Effects.

Yes. I am aware that there is a 10% cut that goes back to the creator for each resale.
And SuperRare takes a 15% cut for each initial sale from the creator.

Batman. Mona Lisa.
Having said that, I don't know how SuperRare do their curation of artists and validation of artworks.

But I am aware however, that recently someone with the moniker (Impact), gotten in as a creator just a day after submitting his application.
