Tried to boot up my comp today but there's no display and no beep.

There's also something peculiar. It will run for about 10-15 seconds (fan spinning, everything revving up, hardware lights all on) then turns itself off for about 3-4 seconds and boot up again. But still no display and no beep. Anyone has any suggestions?

Can list your brand & model of hardware? Especially motherboard and power supply.

On your part, easiest thing you can try is to remove and insert ram back, then power on to try again.

It's quite an old system, more than 4 years old. Have tried removing and reinserting the ram and it got worse. Don't think it's because of removing reinserting the ram but probably whatever was causing the problem got worse. From the earlier power up > turn off by itself > self power up again and remain on, it became a loop between powering up and turning off by itself. I just stood there in amazement for awhile and after like 10 loops, the comp suddenly booted up successfully, gave a beep sound and I finally saw display on my monitor. Now I dont dare to turn it off again...
Anyone has encountered anything like this?
