So sad for the retrenched.. But Exynos has been lagging behind always. But there's a lot of Exynos fans here for some odd reasons.

I believe there will still be Exynos SOC, just that it will not be based on custom core, but rather ARM core like Cortex A77/A76/A55/A53, just like Huawei Kirin.

For example, latest Kirin 990 5G has the following ARM cores.
2x Cortex-A76 @ 2.86 GHz
2x Cortex-A76 @ 2.36 GHz
4x Cortex-A55 @ 1.95 GHz

Kirin is also using ARM GPU cores.

Yes. Exynos drains battery badly and heats up so often. Very bad design.

Their new processor will be ARM-based. Don't know if they will use back Exynos name or rename it
