No sound- need help

Hi all,

I have this problem here. No sound coming out when my monitor is on.
But when i press power off my monitor, the sound comes back.


Monitor : Acer KA271 27 Inch
Speaker : normal usb powered.

Not sure anyone encountered before.

Have you connected your Monitor with HDMI?

Right click your sound icon, look for "Playback Devices"

Make sure you set the USB speaker as default playback device.

I think HDMI is being set as default device...
