First time going phuket in sep. Can recommend resort style hotel that is below SGD 100 per night near beach ( say patong? )

Have no idea what to do there at all except to go there for sun tanning.
Please contribute some ideas that we can do there.

Jus came back from phuket. stayed at holiday inn express patong beach..decent hotel..abt sgd93/night..booked directly on hotel's website and became their member..
now got promo as hotel is still new..jus opened in Dec 2012 only..

tried the john gray sea canoe, very nice experience..was a little ex, but worth the price..lunch,afternoon tea and dinner provided on board, free flow bottled drinking water..2 persons to 1 guide who will do the canoeing for you while you enjoy the scenery..

watched the simon cabaret show, quite entertaining..wife liked it too..

wanted to try the flying hanuman, but no time..

i booked my tours with Mr Mark tours.. very satisfied with their service. their prices might not be the cheapest, but their level of service was very good..

3250 baht per pax..round trip transfer included..
leave hotel around 11.30am and reach hotel around 10pm..

For my booking with Mr Mark, i paid some deposit then the balance to John Gray Sea Canoe.
