dont know abt note 8.0.

i am using note 10.1 LTE and i would say it is not user friendly... the drawer and home soft key are located in different places, false key touch is very possible and a bit of lagging. and there is charging problem similar to s3 users are facing.

IMHO, Note 10.1 vs Note 8.0 is pretty on par in terms of hardware performance with differences that will depend on the individual...

DO NOT get the non-stylus 10.1 though, that is an older model which doesn't perform as well as the above 2.

Note 10.1 pros:
- bigger screen
- front facing speakers
- tablet UI
- lower chance of getting android 5.0

Note 8.0 pros:
- higher PPI
- portability
- phablet UI
- higher chance of getting android 5.0

Note 8 will be a good choice.

As for 10.1, no point buying new set. Seek for used set. I am sure many bros are releasing it to purchase the Note 8.0 or nexus 10.

Had the Note 10.1, now on the Note 8.0. Much prefer the 8.0 for brighter screen and portability. (only half the weight)

Also prefer the physical home button and capacitive touch menu and back buttons.
