Hi all.. I was supposed to enlist on 6 July 2017 to Tekong. but I have knee injury 2 weeks before enlistment and was called down to CMPB for medical review. However, the MO told me that I will be referred to SGH Orthopedic Surgeon. My question is:
1) When will they estimating send the FRO & LOI to my mail house?
2) Will I be posted to Army again or SPF/SCDF when I get my new enlistment date to report?(As I really want Army for NS)
3) If the doctor at SGH found me to be unfit for temporary, will my PES affected as I just want to keep fit and stay in PES B1L1.
I appreciate if any kind souls help me out. Thanks!

What do you mean by "estimating send"

2) likely to be SAF, but never a certainty

3) you may either get a temporary PES or a different permanent PES

U dont need to stay in PES B1 to remain fit

first of all, u did a bad job on chao keng. u should learn from the seniors next time. and ya, u confirm stay in saf/army.

if ur given a temp pes, u would downpes only aft u come back from ur specialist with diagnosed medical conditions that requires a it.
if temp pes expire, u will be called up for medical review to update pes status.

if ur not given a temp pes, u should be given a medical status like light duty, etc, which the MO is required to give u until at least 1-2weeks aft ur appointment date.

Don't get me wrong. I did not chao keng or whatsoever. My knee was pretty bad that I can't even jump or walk properly at the same time. I even told the MO at CMPB that is it possible to like just enlist and tell my MO at Tekong on the first day of my enlistment and he encouraged me to go for SGH cause eventhough I enlist with my bad knee condition, I will still be put OOT/OOC. If I chao keng, I wouldn't have ask for help about all this stuff..

ur enlistment date is almost definitely fixed afew mths from ur enlistment date. u will just oot/ooc from ur enlistment course. and prolly be sent to another chaokeng unit.

and get used to it. even if ur entire leg were amputated, u will still be called a chaokeng for ur excuse lower limb status. cause put simply, noone gives a flyin fk about ur chaokeng story. everyone just jealous u dunnid work hard like them
