My unit the NS liaison guy say IPPT counted as ORNS leh (provided pass. If not pass need clear RT to considered clearing ORNS). Has it changed?

Unless things have changed, any NS activities within the work year, including IPPT/briefing/RT is counted as ORNS clocked

nope.. if IPPT and medical checkup counted as activity.. i would have already MR.

i ORD in 2007 and next year is my last ICT (8th High key) and did a medical checkup in April 2019.

if it's accounted with official recall order (be it SAF/SPF/SCDF), it should count bah

yes but only after 2014. thats why the guy you quoted might not have qualified for some of the years.

So total count as 1 HK & 2 ORNS or 1 HK 1 ORNS for that work year?

say for the same work year, u did 1 HK ICT. a few mths later within same work yr, your unit placed on mob manning (think is auto give 1/2 day regardless of whether being activated or not).

considered as within same work yr, 2 ORNS activity.
1 HK clocked (by virtue of your duration of the actual HK ICT that u did + 1/2 day manning)

Yes. They count by number of days you are activated.

i clocked 5 high key , 3low key and completed 8 ORNS.

so i need 2 more high key to MR. say if my unit next ICT is a Low key i can go defer right? because even if i attend it doesn't count also.

But it's not a legit reason for them to grant you deferment unless you have other valid reason

Yes. They count by number of days you are activated.
