Hi, I want to ask what are the exact number of AU that common engineering student is supposed to take for year 1?

I'm really confused because I can't take specific modules from specific engineering course since i do not know which engineering course i'll be allocated to.

I was only allocated with 16 AUs the following modules:

FE1008
FE1073
HE9091
HW0110
MH1810
PH1012

Do i still have to add any more modules? Any recommendation on which module to take?

thank you, your respond are very appreciated.

You should just stick with what you have at the moment. Try out this current workload first since this is only your first semester in uni. Your specialisation will be known after semester 1. Then you can plan what other modules to take.

should be alright if you stick to your allocated modules.

I was in your shoes two years ago:) If you want to add any other modules, probably you can try clearing your electives.

Yup. Add an elective if u wan since u have to clear it no matter which course u stream to. If u wanna try out the workload esp after 2 yrs of not using much of ur brain then stick to 16au is OK. I had 15 au for my first sem also.
