I am planning to take CS degree next year. Was thinking if anyone can share with me your year 1 notes or online lecture.

Seriously, You shouldn't join. You need to look at lecture notes to make a decision in your career. You didn't even find out what is CS, what is so interesting about CS. If you already knew, then no matter what the lecture is like or the notes are, you will be interested. If you don't even find interest in the topic itself, as someone who has been practicing CS for the past 2 decades, I highly recommend you don't join.

I can assure it, it's full of mathematics and logics. If you don't even have the passion for it, you are not likely to excel in it. I simply don't understand how would a sample of the teaching material will bring passion into something.
