NTU Freshmen 2013/2014 Help!

Hi all,

I have a very silly question here regarding tomorrow, the first day of school for freshmen.

I have a tutorial for one of my modules on mondays, 8.30 onwards. There's a freshmen welcome ceremony at 9am tomorrow.

So in that case, since it's the first day of school, do I just attend the welcome ceremony? There's no updates sent to my NTU email too.

Besides, I didn't attend any FOC or CCA camps or any idea what's going to happen at the ceremony tomorrow? Just go and they will sort us out according to our courses?

AY 2013-14

classes start on 12th aug week. this is week 1.

and tutorials usually start on 19th aug week. In your timetable it should say something like from week 2-13.

so ceremony tmr should be week 0. and no classes this week.

cant rmb what i did at the ceremony except watch some dance performances, wear the gown, made to speak to the person on your left and right, listen to the provost speech. yea they will sort everything out, its nothing to worry about actually. lol.

The NTU computer systems and stuff is really confusing. LOL totally didn't put in much attention to the academic calendar you included earlier.

For tutorials, the computer will display something like this: wk2-wk13... So you'll know week 1 will not have tutorial, so called honeymoon week la

Tutorials usually don't start so fast unless it is a seminar. If that is the case, you would have received emails to attend the tutorial this week for that specific module.
