Allow me to do a brief intro.
I'm an ITE student.
Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering : GPA 4.0
Progressed to Singapore Poly's Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering : GPA 3.94
Gained direct entry to year 2 Mech Engineering.
My weak point, I am no genius. My strong point, I worked hard to make up for that shortcoming.academic-wise.
Could any direct entry seniors currently in Year 3/4 give me a head-up on how you guys spread out your academic load for 3 years in NTU? this is given the fact that there are four Year 1 pre-requisite modules that I need to take on top of the Year 2 modules, making it a grand total of 15 modules.
On top of that, an IA can wipe out an entire semester.
Up to this point, I am not sure how much exempted AUs I will be given, though Aeronautical is mechanical-based. I have serious doubts that I can get much because most modules I studied in SP is vastly different and specialised as compared to what I am about to take in NTU.
On a side note: am I allowed to extend 1 semester to fulfill my IA and graduate in 3.5 years instead?
Thank you in advance for your valuable inputs.
